Street Art Theater // Act II
A journey from harbor to harbor to disembark an artistic creation:
Drifting era is a story of encounters. Actors, musicians, dancers, painters…18 young talents coming from three port and twin cities belonging to two continents: Marseille, Hamburg, Shanghai are presenting the result of their workshop, outcome of 10 days of intensive collective work in Shanghai, under the artistic direction of Lin Chunyuan, with the help of Marie Picard and Alexandre Lejeune.

Drifting era evokes memories from the past, recording from the present and projections on the future, immersing the viewer in a time travel and in harbor cultural universe of the city called the Pearl of Orient. The port culture, a busy meeting place where people exchange their goods and their cultures is reinvented through the poetic vision that these young artists deal with the phenomenon of globalization.
This project marks the second step of the Helix project, coordinated by the NGO Eurocircle, a trilateral exchange of young artists led by street art companies (PING PONG CECPA – China Europe Centre for Performance Art, LOS BAENGDITOS, GENERIK VAPEUR).
